Construction laborers
work mainly with concrete products, also are a support craft in carpentry,
bricklayers and drywallers. A laborer does all line and grade for highway
projects and the placement of concrete on roads and bridges, also set up
transit and lasers on storm and sanitary pipe and install water mains. Laborers
remove asbestos materials, hazardous and toxic waste and lead abatement.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
High school education
recommended but not required
Must be physically fit
to perform work of the trade
Valid drivers license
Suitable transportation
